Commerzbank
Name of program: The Finance & Controlling
Graduate Programme
Language requirement: English and/or German (beneficial)
Duration: 12 to 18 months
Summary: The Group-wide management of Germany’s second biggest bank is a tough challenge.
This is why we’re on the lookout for talented individuals to work in Corporate Development and Controlling, Accounting and Tax and Project Management. If you join us, we’ll
get you off to a good start. A welcome seminar will give you all the key facts on the way
our bank is organised – from its structure to essential information for new recruits. You
will meet other participants in the Graduate Programme from different areas of the
bank, enabling you to start building your own network. In our Graduate Programme, you
will experience the full range of the various business areas. You will learn, for example,
how to create management reports and coordinate budgets. Or you can learn about
German and international accounting standards and regulatory and taxation requirements. You’ll also work with income, cost and profit targets in corporate and investment
banking and work on associated projects. Alternatively, you can work with the Strategy
and Controlling Unit, which is part of Group Management and spans various business
areas. We will be with you every step of the way and provide specialist seminars and
practical placements to broaden your expertise during this period.
